Ok...im really confused help me out guys...

There is an opportunity for me to go to San Angelo, Texas to work as a Paid intern with a paper over there...the guy has emailed me and called me like crazy so there is a really high chance I just need to say 'ok, i'll come' and i have the job. its a 10 week long internship going on next semester...again Paid.

Here is the deal, I'm waiting to hear from the Sports on Demand Network ppl to see if the internship (also paid) i was going to have with them this semester will happen in the spring semester. I would rather have this one because I wouldnt have to go hundreds of miles away. also, chris was in el paso...but he's coming home now. so it really frustrates me that ill be gone at the same time he is coming home...=-( At the same time, i really think that this would be a great opportunity for me...it would definitely add on to my resume....but i also believe that i could find an internship here in houston with maybe a tv station (which is where i ultimately want to be). I think i'm just going to talk to the san angelo ppl and ask of a possibility of doing this over the summer because I mean, i already have everything ready for next semester...im already signed up for classes and all...and if i go there, i would only get 3 credits for the internship so i would either be a semester behind (which i definitely not want to do) or i would have to take online classes to stay on track...AAAHHGHHHHHGHH~ what do you guys think?

wow...i cant believe i havent had a chance to update in a month and a half...thats insane...it even took me like 5 tries to figure out what my password was...thats how long its been...i dont even konw where to begin telling yall about all thats been going on...i dont even think i can do that so i wont try. the things that come to my mind are how much fun halloween was...then my trip to el paso to see Chris ^_^ then school and work...thats all ive been doing lately (by lately i mean in that month and a half i havent posted anything)...school is going well...except political science, lets hope i pass...every other class is going well...i recently signed up for the spring semester classes and i have enough credits to be a junior next semester so YIPPIE!!! i cant believe it but im really happy...i really want to just get my degree and move on with my life! dont get me wrong, ive enjoyed uh (specially this semester) and ive made really good friends and all...im just ready for whatever is next...and i know it wont be more school so just the thought of that brings a smile to my face see--> ^_^ ...lol...newho i gotta go do some homework now that ive got the chance to because if i dont then ill be failing more than just political science...tisk tisk....you kiddoes take care and let me know how yall are doing! Hello everyone! I just thought I'd write about what's been going on in my life lately...

nothing.

j/k! we went back to school last thursday...blah...the good thing about MargaRita is that all of my tests got moved one week! YEY! the bad thing is that i was forced to be productive for that time i had nothing better to do, so i got ahead on my political science reading assignments...only to find out that one of the chapters i had read and even made notecards for the vocab is not going to be on the test anymore...GGRRR i was really pissed off...im never getting ahead on my reading ever again...its obviously pointless....
yesteday was lots of fun...some of the DC ppl went to #'s...out of about 9 or ten of us that were there im probably the only one that remembers anything that happened that night...haha...ive gotta admit the club was interesting...interesting ppl there...but it was fun! the crowd i went with is really funny and fun to be around! ^_^ the best thing about the club was that everybody is dancing really carefree...you could be dancing all crazy and showing off your weirdest moves and noone cares! so i think we all took advantage of that =-P
we went to this place called house of pies after stopping at Zach's...and ive gotta admit that place doesnt have good food....its like an IHOP wanna be...but 10 times worse...for some odd reason it is always crowded thou...i dunno...i do know that i really enjoyed eating dinner/breakfast at 4 am! i hope we do it again soon =-)

patricia was supposed to get here today! but i havent talked to her yet....hopefully we'll get to hang out soon! im really excited!!!!

if you read this tina...sry...i was waiting for patricia to call and then i went grocery shopping and then i thought it was wiser for me to study rather than going to the massive amount of frat parties all happening at once...ill make it to the next ones...no worries =-)

in between all this stuff, and more i wont go into, ive been studyin for my theater test on tuesday...wish me luck plz!

Ok...so the highlight of my last couple of weeks was that i got to travel with the UH football team to their game agaisnt UTEP...im the editor right, i can choose to go to any game i want...so why did i choose to go to the one in el paso? because i would get to see CHRIS!!! omg...it was AwEsOmE!!! the whole trip was awesome...we left on thursday at about 130 pm..on three charter buses...and we were escorted to bush intcl. it was sooooo coool!!!!!!! then we quickly went through security and straight to the plane...one plane for all of us...it was awesome! the coach's wife and daughter were sitting next to me and they were nice enough to trade sits with me so that i could get the window seat! which later turned out to be a bad idea cus i felt really sick after we landed...lol...but it was all cool...and omg they fed us like pigs!!! srsly...they had lunch waiting for us in the airplane and at the hotel and omg so much! ...and so we get to el paso, and im like about to burst in excitement because i was going to see Chris in less than an hour!!!
So we get out of the airplane take five steps, and the buses are waiting for us to take us to the hotel which was right there in the airport. we could have walked to it in five minutes if we wanted to (no joke) in less time that it took to get all the luggage and people into the bus...but newho, we stayed at the hilton...it was really nice and i had my own room!!! it was a pretty big room too! huge bed! ;-) ...newho...thats besides the point...and so Chris (the sports information guy, not my Chris) was going to take all the media out to eat, but i decided to go to a picnic with Chris...it was on base and i got to meet all of his friends!!! it was really cool and the base is like their own little town, i dunno, it was just cool~

so then we had the rest of thursday night to do watever...on friday morning they had a trip to new mexico scheduled for us, but i called Chris (Sports info guy) and he said the media could go if they wanted to but didnt have to...so i chose to sleep in instead because well...i hadnt slept the previous nights...and then Chris got off work early so we went and ate lunch together =-) and before we knew it it was time for me to go to the game...the buses left the hotel at 330 on friday, the game started at 6, but you know...the media needs to be there super early all the time!

the stadium was pretty cool...it was literally surrounded by mountains...it was nice...the game was ReAlLy good...unfortunately UH lost in overtime and Chris wasnt able to make it =-( ...our plane was supposed to leave at 10...game ended 1045ish...we didnt leave the stadium until about 1130 because of one thing or another...the plane left at 130 am on saturday...got to houston at 230, but it was really 330 cus we are ahead one hour...got to school at 4...i got home at 5ish......i might have not described it as a really exciting trip...but it really was! maybe because it was my first...or because i had someone to look forward seeing there..or both...i dunno! i just hope UH makes it to the bowl game and that it is in Hawaii, like it was in 2003...I would def be going to that one! =-)

so yeah...besides that ...ive been going to school and work. if im not at either of those...then i might be out with some friends...thats another story actually...i dont wanna talk abotu it...i just want to say this: i sometimes wish i had kept in touch with some of my friend in high school because it has truly become really hard to find people to replace you guys...*sigh*

newho...so yeah we are waiting for hurricane Margarita...as we referred to it in the newsroom...lol...lets all hope everyone is safe...i told my parents we should have just driven to el paso...but nooooooo...of course they didnt agree with me! lol...i wonder why...well im tired of typing...ill update again in a month or two...=-) ...j/k

alright, just a lil update for those of u who care about all the crazy shit going on in my life....i started my job as the daily cougar sports editor this week...its hell...ok...not really hell...but i dont get home any earlier than midnight...everyday...pretty much...its a lot of work, but im learning as i go and im really gaining a lot of experience, which is what i want...so hopefully ill get the hang of it soon and not screw it up....classes are going well, so far...its gonna be a lot of work, but i can handle it ( i hope)...in the mean time...the free time i have (now that i dont have a job as a CNA because they decided to take the lady to a nursing home...which reminds me, i passed my CNA test!!!!! YIPPIE!!!)...i figure if i get home at early hours in the morning because of work, then im definitely not going to hesitate gettin home just as late, or literally early, from a party or having fun....so thats whta it did today...frat party at the TKE house...fun fun!...had to leave early, or else i would have paid the consequences of fuckin peer pressure....its a bitch...BUT i can still resist, so its all good!...newho...im gonna go do something else...like talk to a friend i havent talked to in ages! take care ppls!^_^

my life is so hectic right now...ive srsly felt really stressed out lately and ive been busy as hell...and my stupid internship for the fall semester is getting delayed until whenever they feel like UH is important enough, practically a long time,...and so because of that i took the sports editor job for the newspaper...it would be great if i didnt have to do lots of shit besides check for their grammar errors...i also have to deal with writers not turning stories on time, write stories i wont get paid extra for, design the layout, and blah blah blah....dotn get me wrong...im excited as hell, but at the same time really scared and stressed out because i dont want to mess it up...its a really great opportunity from which i will gain lots of experience...but im just scared...really scared.....................(plus it takes way too much time...time i had already planed to use to see Chris...GGRRRRR......)

in other news....my internship for the summer is almost over...only next week to go...yippie! i really enjoyed it tho...so imma miss doing some work for those ppl...

i went to buy my books today...about 280 dollars...and still need a couple more...yikes...good thing ive got parents! (lol..j/k i love my parents...i would even if they didnt pay for my books!)...i havent gone to the gym in months...somehow i havent gained weight...its a miracle....newho...i gotta go write more stories...as usual!

this past week was absolute hell...well not all hell, it just seemed like it because i had soooo much work to do for my internship...i didnt sleep good a single night, so i was freaking tired all day, everyday...i was finally done with all my work yesteday so it was time to have some very much deserved fun!...

so i went to a comedy club at IMPROV (at Marq*e)....it was soooooo funny!!!!!! we saw Bryan Regan i think was his name, and the two other comedians that introduced him were pretty funny too! lol...of course the night couldnt be over after that (it was only 10 at night) so we decided to go bowling...then changed our minds because there was like an hour wait...so we went to Hush...some of us had never been there...but Thomas had heard that it was a pretty cool club...well we got there early so there wasnt many ppl on the dance floor yet and for some odd reason an entire family decided to have their family reunion there (im not talkin about ppl our age...im talking about ppl in their freakin 60's dancing)...so yeah it was interesting....this one lady was going freakin crazy with these weird ass moves and her pole dancing...(eew!)...lol...more young ppl arrived soon after...and Thomas felt like he was in heaven because it was only him and 3 of us...all hispanic girls! haha.....so the night was great regardless of all the weird stuff!!!

So this week was yet another busy one at the newsroom...i had like five billion stories to cover and so little time...but i finally got them all done, phew!

ive been tired all week...for the past three days ive only gotten like 4 or 5 hrs of sleep (each night) ...for those of u who know me, u know that is definitely NOT enough sleep for me! and last night our AC broke so my house was like an oven during the night...yeah...i managed to sleep only because of the previously mentioned lack of sleep.

this weekend has been fun so far...played tennis and ran with Daisy yesterday...my plan was to take a shower and go to sleep as soon as i got home....BUT on the way home i got a call to play pool...and of course i couldnt resist! it was lots of fun! Patrick kicked mine and Alton's butt almost everytime, but its cool i guess....i wasnt sucking too bad...i was actually playing pretty good at the beginning, then my true skills came out and everything went downhill! we had fun regardless!=-)

today i had to go to the zoo to cover a story on the bald eagle Liberty. it was her 7th b-day and so they had a little celebration going on...it was interesting/cool cus i got to hang out with the camera men from channel 45 and 39!!! and ride in a golf cart thru the zoo, instead of walking! lol

guess what yall?! my very first stories (in a real newspaper) were on todays newspaper!!! well..really on yesterdays (wednesday)...one is on the front page of the humble observer, another on the front page (yep, thats right....not a typo! lol) of the atascocita observer, and a story in the sports section of all three observers (kw, humble,n atasc.)!!!!!!!!! im really excited!!! i took all the pics too!!! so yeah...i just wanted to brag about that a lil...lol...0=-)

im kinda tired despite the fact i took a 3 hr nap today! lol...so night night!!!

WHHHOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! can u guess who got an internship with Sports on Demand Network for this upcoming fall!?!?!........ME!!!!!! How GrEaT is that?! im sooooo happy!!! they only pick 2 ppl out of all the applicants to cover UH sports (ftball n bkball) and IM ONE OF THEM!!!!! Everything is srsly going my way (career wise....and life wise in general!) ^_^ By the end of my sophomore year (end of next semester) i will have already worked for my school newspaper, worked as an intern with the Observer (a real newspaper), and worked with SODN!!!! thats srsly AwEsOmE!!!! Im gaining soooo much experience....its gonna be tough competing against me for future internships/jobs!!!! lol....^_^

Newho!...this past weekend was great too (except for a lil detail we wont get into)....Carrie's surprise party was on sat! she really liked it and we all had a good time! after that Patrick n I went to Alton's apartment....his best friend...hes really cool! hopefully ill be seeing more of him in the future!...then back to continue on with the PaRtAY....this time at Carrie n Courtney's apartment...she turned 21...so the appropriate celebration could not happen at her parents...which explains the previously mentioned continuation of party somewhere else...lol...it was lots of FuN! ...while it lasted...Patrick n i left a lil early...my contacts were killing me..GGGrrrrr...and that margarita was not my friend either...
then Sunday was Fathers Day!!! so we cooked delicious food and spent some time with Dad! ^_^ ...oh and the really good soccer game ...that the Ligers won BTW! ....Go Ligers!!!! its was such a good game...i thought...really intense...specially towards the end!...

Im really busy with the internship and CNA classes...but its cool...im REALLY enjoying this summer!!!

bad news: i might not get to go to el paso to see Chris this summer ;-( ...wish me luck on that plz!

sorry i havent updated in a while...im sure you people didnt really care neways! haha...i was busy having tons of fun!!! and going to school in between...>_< ...oh yeah, the journalism class im taking at KC is not a class...ITS AN INTERNSHIP WITH THE OBSREVER NEWSPAPER...ahhhhhhhh im kinda glad it is...but i wish i would have know that earlier...plus im having to take an hour lab along with it ....so this summer will be a LOT busier than i expected because it is all this on top of the CNA class and random writing for the DAily Cougar....oh well!
i missed the soccer practices this week...not good...=-( but i cant wait until the game on sunday..theres a game sunday right?!! who knows!

San Antonio was great! we(family and my siser's boyfriend or fiance or w/e he is now) just decided on friday to go for a lil vacation roadtrip for the weekend...the ride there was great! we all have the same sense of humor and make jokes every 5 min...the trip was lots of fun! and we didnt have to pay that much to stay at the holiday inn because Ariel (sis' b/f) works at one here and can get good discounts! that meant that we had more money to spend on fun stuff!

i went to soccer practice yesterday..WOW! first of all, the ppl on my team werent joking when they said they were good! and im definitely out of shape! but it was fun regardless! saw MRS Fuson there so i was glad to hear they were doing good!!

today i began my Certified Nurse Aid course...sooooooooooo boring...but Megan, Daisy and her sis are in the class too so it will be fun at times even if we are not partners!

i start my journalism course next week ...yey! its paper based so i dont need to wake up early and go to a classroom only to get bored!!

going to play tennis tonite...at kc...its nothing serious, not yet at least...mostly for fun and recreation but i really enjoy it!!! daisy and megan go there too...so its fun...im glad we are hanging out more now! ^_^
......then soccer again tomorrow! yey!

ive seriously spent more hours in various hospitals the past two weeks than in my entire life!...this time it was my dad...he smashed 3 of his fingers at work...he broke one, another was just a lil swolen and purple, and the other he had to have surgery on because a lil piece of the bone was almost sticking out...so they had to cut that off and blah blah...fix it...lol...yeah...oh, my parents...they are a mess...they are worse than super hyperactive little brats...not even my little cousins who never stop running around and jumping up and down get hurt as much as my parents have in the past two weeks...at least ive been out of school and available to take care of them...i just wish they wouldnt get sick/hurt nemore!
